Joy Smith first studied P.R. at Conestoga College, and seeing the connection between branding, communications, and storytelling, went on to study Drama and Speech Communication at the University of Waterloo. Currently Joy facilitates the coordination of events, communications, and operations at the lab. In her spare time she studies the intersections between arts and technologies, emerging technologies, and Japanese.
